Step 3. Place Artwork into Die Template. (Order Die)

Die_with_Art  Using your Vector Artwork Drawing Program open the Artwork you want on your die. Group the entire Artwork.  Copy and past the Artwork into the Die Template. Then center the artwork in the template. The artwork position should be 4 1/4" and 5.5".  The Artwork should appear to be centered in the template.  Now save the completed file where you can find it for later use.  Do not save is as your template.

Now you are ready to send your file to your die maker.  Most die makers will want a Encapsulated PostScript or .esp. file.  You will need to Export your file to .eps.  Make sure you convert any fonts you may have used to curves. When exporting your file.  It is also good practice send a .pdf file of your die so the die maker can see that the .eps file opened properly.
