A fixture may be required to hold and locate your
part for printing. More complex parts or images the may
require complex fixtures. The fixture must be designed to do the
following:
1. Hold the part securely in position for printing.
2. Support the part under the print area.
3. Support the pad in areas not supported by the part.
To Quote a fixture AFM requires a 3D model of the part to be printed. This
Model can be in the following formats:
1. Solid Works .prt file. AFM has the most current version of Solid
Works.
2. step files.
3. iges files. |
