The Paddle System is the least expensive of
all and works very well. It does have some drawbacks that the other
system do not. Paddles are not complex and can be made for a
reasonable price.
The Paddle System is the hardest to make ready. It requires
make ready under the Paddle for the gussets
and bottom of the bag to make sure the print is good. It also may
have problems with bags with handles or cords.
The Paddle System is harder to load without the operator burning
their hands. Small bags are loaded under the
heater head so the operator puts their hands under the heater head
with the max clearance of the heater head up.
